Backend software engineer. I work with Go, messaging and distributed systems, from Medianeira, inland Paraná, Brazil.

I got into this through the IT support desk, fixing what was already broken, and that stuck. What interests me in a system is the unglamorous part: idempotency, ordering, what happens when the same message arrives twice, how much that thing will cost to keep alive two years from now.

I lean towards decisions that are explicit and reversible, code the next person can read on their own, and observability that answers questions during an incident instead of filling up a dashboard. Most of what I know came out of code review and mentoring, in both directions.

This blog is my public notebook: notes on architecture, product decisions with technical consequences, and postmortems of things that broke. I write in Portuguese and in English, not every piece exists in both.
